On a sunny Saturday afternoon, the small town of Maplewood was filled with the laughter of children playing outside. Tommy had been riding his scooter for a couple of months, becoming quite proficient at performing tricks and racing against his friends. His confidence, however, sometimes led him to take risks that made his parents uneasy.
